Terms of service

Last updated July 7, 2026

These terms keep things fair and clear between you and Tend. The short version: use Tend to coordinate your family's care, be honest about who you are, and remember it's an organizer, not a doctor.

The service

Tend gives families a shared place for a parent's appointments, medicines, and to-dos. It is currently free while we grow. If that ever changes, we'll tell you clearly and in advance.

Your account and your circle

  • You must be at least 18 to create an account.
  • Only invite people who should genuinely see your parent's care details.
  • You're responsible for keeping your password safe.

Not medical advice

Tend stores scheduling details your family enters. It gives no medical advice, makes no diagnoses, and is not a substitute for professional care. Always confirm medical questions with your parent's doctor or pharmacist. Don't rely on Tend for emergencies.

Your content

What your family enters belongs to your family. You give us permission to store and display it to your circle, which is the entire point of the app. See the privacy policy for how we handle it.

Fair limits

We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, and we provide Tend "as is" while it's young. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us, which for now is nothing.
